Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in lead generation and business development, especially through online platforms such as Upwork, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clutch, Apollo, and other B2B lead generation tools.
You will be responsible for identifying, connecting, and converting potential leads into clients by initiating conversations and effectively pitching our services. You will also play a key role in proposal writing, submitting bids, and securing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation:
- Identify and generate new business leads using platforms like Upwork, LinkedIn, Clutch, GoodFirms, etc.
- Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Hunter.io, etc. to build targeted prospect lists.
- Actively managing and nurturing leads to maintain a strong sales pipeline.

- Client Engagement:
- Initiate contact with potential clients through messaging, cold emailing, or social outreach.
- Maintain professional and engaging communication to bring leads into conversations (chat or calls).
- Schedule and participate in client meetings, demos, and calls.

- Proposal Writing & Bid Submission:
- Write customized and compelling business proposals tailored to client needs.
- Submit proposals on freelance and bidding platforms (Upwork, Freelancer, etc.).
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure accurate representation of project scope and feasibility.

- Sales & Conversion:
- Follow up on leads and opportunities promptly to ensure high conversion rates.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

- Market Research & Strategy:
- Conduct competitive research and identify new business trends and opportunities.
- Provide insights and suggestions to improve sales strategies and outreach techniques.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience (2–3 years) in B2B lead generation and sales.
- Hands-on experience with platforms like Upwork, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clutch, Apollo, etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in writing business proposals and submitting bids on freelance platforms.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented with a proactive approach to work.
- Knowledge of CRM tools and pipeline management is a plus e.g. Zoho, Zoom Info..
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related field (preferred).
